A Little About Me

My name is Maxen Moore, and TripCove is the place where I collect the stories, moments, and small discoveries that travel has given me over the years. I’ve always believed that the best travel advice doesn’t come from guidebooks, it comes from lived experience. From the early morning walks in unfamiliar cities to the quiet conversations with locals, to the unexpected detours that end up becoming your favourite memories.

I’ve been fortunate enough to explore many corners of the world, from lantern‑lit towns in Vietnam to the calm temples of Japan, the beaches of Bali, and the mountain air of Northern Thailand. Some places stay with you long after you leave, and those are the ones I love writing about the most.

TripCove is my way of sharing those experiences in a way that feels honest, human, and helpful, the kind of advice I wish I had when I first started travelling.

Why I Started TripCove

TripCove began as a simple habit of jotting down notes after each trip so I wouldn’t forget the small details that made a place special. Over time, those notes grew into stories, and those stories turned into guides that friends and family kept asking me to share.

I realised there was something meaningful in writing about travel in a way that feels real, not rushed, not salesy, not copied from brochures. Just honest experiences, practical tips, and the kind of insights you only get when you’ve actually walked the streets, tasted the food, and felt the rhythm of a place.

That’s what TripCove is built on: slow travel, lived experiences, and genuine recommendations.

“Not Just Me — A Community of Travellers”

While many of the stories on TripCove come from my own travels, this site is also shaped by a small circle of guest writers, travellers, photographers, and researchers who share the same love for slow, meaningful exploration. Some of the guides you’ll find here are based on their experiences, insights, and on‑the‑ground knowledge.

I’m grateful to have contributors who care about accuracy, authenticity, and storytelling as much as I do. Together, we aim to create a space where travellers can find honest advice, thoughtful recommendations, and inspiration for their next journey.

TripCove isn’t just my voice, it’s a collection of perspectives from people who genuinely love exploring the world.
